Trouble Reports
Power Outages
No power in your home? First check your breakers and fuses. If everything is in order in your fuse box, look outside to see if your neighbors have also lost power. If so, don’t assume that someone else has already called or is going to call. Report the outage by calling (903) 763-2203 or (800) 762-2203 anytime day or night. You can speak to one of our member service representatives or use our convenient automated system to report the outage. (You’ll need a valid phone number to access the automated system, so be sure to keep your phone number current with us.) You can also report an outage by e-mailing us at info@wcec.org.
Downed Power Lines
Careful! Stormy weather or high winds can send power lines onto the street or into your yard—and if those lines become energized, they could be dangerous to you or those close to you. If you see a downed line, call (903) 763-2203 or (800) 762-2203 to report it, or e-mail us at info@wcec.org. Then warn others to stay away from the area where the line is down.
Security Lights
Security lights in rural areas help keep you and your property safe. If one of these lights goes out, call (903) 763-2203 or (800) 762-2203 to report it right away, or e-mail us at info@wcec.org. We’ll get the light back on for you as quickly as we can.
