WCEC Outage Statistics
As Hurricane Rita made its way to the Texas Coast, Wood County Electric Cooperative
began to prepare, as many others did, for a major storm to hit our area. Fortunately for us,
the storm was not as bad as we were expecting, but did cause some outages in the areas
we serve. Below are outage statistics from September 24 through September 26, 2005.

We would like to thank all our members for their patience and understanding throughout
this storm. We can’t promise you won’t lose power again, but we can promise we will
always give our best effort to get the lights back on for you. Our thoughts are with the
many cooperatives that are still working to restore power in their areas.
